[Small Note: despite having health, you cannot actually die in this game since I forgot to implement it before the deadline. Your health can keep going down past 0 to the negatives, but you can still keep playing from there. Can't really change that while submissions are closed so... explore with leisure, I suppose :).]

Inside a vast underground cave system is an abandoned lab, where they experimented with an ancient entity. This force proved to be too dangerous, and the lab and its surrounding area was frozen to keep it contained. 

Soon however, it will thaw, and the entity will bring ruin to all. You have been tasked to find a way inside this lab and destroy this entity. Grow your strength and capabilities by exploring every corner of the caverns, and complete your mission by defeating "The Eye".

Controls:

Basic Controls

Move - Left Stick/DPAD or WASD

Jump - LT/A/Cross or Space Bar

Shoot - RT/X/Triangle or Left Mouse Button

Aim - Mouse or Right Stick

Aiming can be changed to mouse aiming by click on the screen with the mouse, and can be changed to controller aiming by pressing start/select with the controller.

Abilities

Ball Mode - (Location: Upper Caves)

Press B/Circle on controller or the Middle Mouse Button to go into and return from ball mode. In this mode, you can into small tunnels and gain speed when traveling down slopes, but you also have less jump height and horizontal control.

Rockets - (Location: Frost Zone)

A powerful alternative offensive option to your normal beam cannon. However, it requires ammo to use. Can bounce off surfaces up to 3 times without exploding. Toggle rocket firing mode on/off with RB/Y/Triangle on Controller or Shift/R on Keyboard.

Can destroy  blocks.

 Mini Bombs - (Location: Brightroot)

Small time bombs that can be used in ball mode using the fire button. Rolls down slopes, and will explode immediately when near an enemy.

Can destroy  blocks.

Super Jump - (Location: Brightroot)

Increase your jump height and distance.

 Plasma Cannon - (Location: Brightroot)

Increases the power of both your cannon's regular shots and rocket shots. 

Can destroy  blocks.

Armor [Optional] - (Location: Upper Caves)

Significantly reduces damage taken.

 Super Dash [Optional] - (Location: Hidden Monument)

Lunge forward and damage enemies while being invulnerable to attacks. Can be done midair or on the ground. Press LB or Right Mouse Button to use.
